                                                     The History of Classification

With your chosen animal/bird/insect, you need to produce a poster which shows the scientific classification for a group of living things.

You also need to find out how the current method of classifying organisms was developed.

Information to include is -
- science-based
classification (level 1)
- explanation of how features are used to show relatedness (level 2)
- how features are used to show the degrees of  relatedness
(level 3)
- highlight species that have been moved recently on the basis of further evidence or discuss the problems with fossil species.
(level 4)

Subject headings, keywords
taxonomy, scientific taxonomy, classification, animal you are studying

Dewey Numbers (use OPAC for specific animal etc)
