The History of Classification
With your chosen animal/bird/insect, you need to produce a poster which shows the scientific classification for a group of living things.
You also need to find out how the current method of classifying organisms was developed.
Information to include is -
- science-based classification (level 1)
- explanation of how features are used to show relatedness (level 2)
- how features are used to show the degrees of relatedness (level 3)
- highlight species that have been moved recently on the basis of further evidence or discuss the problems with fossil species. (level 4)

Dewey Numbers (use OPAC for specific animal etc)
